Retirement plus revamped website offers brokers an online calculator and better resources
Retirement Plus has launched its improved website – www.retirement-plus.co.uk - which now has extra information on equity release, improved navigation and product details and marketing literature that is easier to source and download.
The website also includes an easy to use calculator, which can be used without the need to register, to provide instant estimates on how much a client could raise using a Retirement Plus product.
Duncan Young, CEO of Retirement Plus said: “We are constantly seeking to improve services to our intermediaries. Our re-vamped website demonstrates that we listen to their comments and respond positively to them.
The site is seeing emerging website usage trends - visitors to the site are roughly split 50:50 between consumers and IFAs, whereas previously, it was used predominantly by IFAs. In each case, visitors are staying much longer than before. In addition, they are visiting specific pages which suggests that they want to become better educated about how equity release can help in retirement planning.
The website provides an authoritative guide to equity release as well as our product details, which, in light of current inflationary pressures and lower pension returns, will help intermediaries and customers alike to do their research and gain a better understanding of the opportunities equity release can offer.”

About Retirement Plus
Retirement Plus is a Milton Homes company which specialises in providing equity release products. The Retirement Plus range of home reversion plans allow UK residents aged 65 or older to receive full market value for a share of their property at the start of the plan, in return for which they grant Retirement Plus an option to acquire an increasing beneficial share in the property over the life of the Plan. Significantly, these products enable the owner to release their share of the property over time, rather than giving up the full amount at inception. The homeowner can also elect to retain a “protected share” of the property.
Retirement Plus is authorised and regulated by the FSA and is a member of SHIP, the body which is dedicated entirely to the protection of planholders and to the promotion of safe home income and equity release plans. Retirement Plus only accepts business from customers who have received advice from brokers registered with the Financial Services Authority.
