The equity release market is still bouyant!
If you check the number of SHIP member cases, rather than just the straight percentages, you’ll see that in the third quarter there were a total of:
- 6,139 completions
(and that doesn’t include any ‘further advances’) - Plus, when you look at the three quarters which make up this year to the end of September 2008 you’ll find that so far:
16,871 cases have been accomplished to date this year
Times may be hard but there’s no doubt that older homeowners throughout the UK are looking seriously at equity release products and the benefits that can be had by releasing some cash from their properties.
And now, more than ever, they need some timely advice from an independent financial adviser.
