Chris is a chartered surveyor with over thirty year’s experience of dealing with property throughout the UK. He had extensive involvement with innovations in property finance and ownership during ten years as the chief executive of a regulated property fund management group. After leading a management-buy-out of that group he concentrated on his research into the potential for retirement-age individuals to gain more from their property ownership. In turn this led to the creation of Retirement Plus.
Michael was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1984. He practised as an audit partner with particular emphasis on the Real Estate sector. He was a Senior Audit partner in BDO LLP where he was responsible for the management of the national audit business. Since leaving BDO in 2015, he has led the restructuring of a large family property business. He is the Chief Executive of the City of London Group plc, which became the ultimate holding company of Retirement Plus in 2017.
Shane joined the Milton Homes Group as the Group Financial Controller in October 2009. He holds a degree from Durham University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI). After moving from Belfast to London in 1998, he became European Financial Controller for the London office of a US computer development company based in Los Angeles. In 2003 he moved to Sydney to be a Finance Manager in the second largest telecommunications company in Australia, before returning to London in 2009.
Shane brings years of experience in heading up the Finance department in a number of companies, and a history of excellent financial reporting and analysis.
